This policy explains what BiteBuzz (“BiteBuzz,” “we,” “us”), operated by [BiteBuzz LLC / operating entity], collects when you use the BiteBuzz mobile app, why, and what choices you have. BiteBuzz is a discovery app for local food and drink deals. It is currently a pilot in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

How information is stored and shared

BiteBuzz runs on Supabase, which hosts our database and authentication on cloud infrastructure located in the United States. Data is protected in transit with encryption and, within the database, by per-user access rules so that one user cannot read another user's account data.

We share information only with:

Deal listings, business names, and business-provided details are shown publicly in the app. Your account email, saved deals, location, and reports are not shown to other users.

Retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep something to comply with the law or resolve a dispute. Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be kept.

Your choices and rights

Children

BiteBuzz is not directed to children. You must be at least 17 years old to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13; if you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use reasonable measures — encryption in transit, database access controls, and limited staff access — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use BiteBuzz after a change means you accept the updated policy.
